Aug. 1975 Establishment of Komeda's Coffee Co., Ltd.
Feb. 1977 Opening of the Kamiyama branch of Komeda's Coffee
Apr. 1993 Establishment of Komeda Co., Ltd. and the company franchise
Feb. 1999 Opening of the "Okagean" sweets shop
Aug. 2001 The company headquarters moves from Kamiyama-cho, Mizuho-ku, Nagoya City to the present location (Aoi, Higashi-ku Nagoya City)
Jun. 2003 The Yokohama Eda branch opens as the first Komeda's Coffee shop in the Kanto region
Nov. 2006 The Nara Chuo branch opens as the first Komeda's Coffee shop in the Kansai region
Aug. 2007 The Shimomaruko branch opens as the first franchise in the Tokyo 23 wards area
Apr. 2008 A fund operated by Advantage Partners LLP becomes the successor to Komeda's business
Apr. 2009 The Nagoya Airport East branch opens as the first smoke-free Komeda's Coffee shop
May 2009 The Osaka Honmachi branch opens as the first Komeda's Coffee shop in Osaka
Mar. 2010 The Kanazawa Matsumura branch opens as the first Komeda's Coffee shop in the Hokuriku region
